At Meadows of Hope, healing happens in relationships. The girls live together in a family-style environment, sharing daily life with each other and with their mentors. This close-knit setting creates opportunities to practice kindness, forgiveness, and healthy communication in real time.
Mentors walk alongside the girls, guiding them through challenges, celebrating victories, and modeling what safe, supportive relationships look like. Living together fosters accountability and trust, while also teaching the value of respect and cooperation.
In this community, the girls learn they are not alone in their struggles and discover the joy of belonging and being truly understood.
"As I reflect over my 17 months that I spent at Meadows of Hope, it is amazing to think how much my life has changed. When I first came, I was living in a lot of darkness. After a couple months, I started finding out that there is so much more to life than staying locked up inside myself. Being open and connected to the people around me has been a struggle. But as I learned to talk about stuff, and let people into my life, I have found a lot of freedom. I know that life is not always going to be easy, but I have confidence that God is in control, and He will be with us every step of the way."
